MESSECAR, James Hilton - The family of James Hilton Messecar sadly announces his passing at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, October 22, 2007 at age 90 years, after a lengthy illness. Beloved husband for 60 years of the late Jean Margaret Fowler. Much loved father of Marilyn Biggs, Sandra Kennard and her husband Bill and Kathy Messecar, all of Brantford. Loving grandfather of Debbie, Dan, Dave and Melanie and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Betty Jean Crump and her husband Lawrence of Mt. Pleasant. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Alma Messecar and by brothers Ed, Morley and Elmer. Mr. Messecar was a longtime member of Farringdon Independent Church. The family will receive friends at MCCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Rd. N. on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be in the chapel on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. officiated by Rev. Joe Dunkerson, followed by interment in Farringdon Burial Ground. If wished, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.
