BEDFORD, Mary Elizabeth - a resident of Ridgetown and formerly R.R. #4, Chatham, died Sunday October 21, 2007 at the Village Retirement Residence at the age of 96. Born in Howard Township daughter of the late Samuel & Mary (Winter) Holmes. Mrs. Bedford was a former member of Oakmount Community Club, Bethel Church and Park St. United Church. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Douglas Bedford (1991). Dear mother of Elizabeth DeHoey, R.R. #3, Kent Bridge and her husband the late Edward DeHoey (1999). Also pre-deceased by one son Kenneth Bedford (2003). Mother-in-law of Helen Bedford, RR #4, Chatham. Grandmother of Mary Ann Myers (Warren); Janice Havens (Rob); Bonnie Gotelaer (Peter); David DeHoey (Louise Kelly); Virginia Laprise (Claud); Jennifer Masse (Donat) and Amanda Bedford. Great Grandmother of Matthew, Kristen, Kyle, Jillian, Rebecca, Valerie, Jamie, and Aaren. Sister of the late Frank Holmes and two infant brothers. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Tuesday October 23, 2007 from 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.
