GORTON, Audrey Alice - It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing away of Audrey A. Gorton (age 75), Sunday October 28th, 2007 at St. Joseph's Manor in Elliot Lake. Loving daughter of Harry and Edith Gorton (both predeceased) and cherished friend of Laura Walker of Elliot Lake. Audrey was an active member of St Peter the Apostle Church. She served in the altar guild, the church choir, she was a Lay reader, a Sunday School teacher, in the women Guild, a member of the Smile Quilters and a proud graduate of McMaster University. A resident of our community for the past 13 years, she will be sadly missed by numerous friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday November 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St Peter's Anglican Church on Roman Avenue. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services. 10883476
