BUXTON (Bean) Annette Saumier - 1939-2007 - On October 27, 2007, at North Bay General Hospital-Scollard Site, with her children at her bedside, Annette Bean passed away in her 71'st year. Dearly loved mother of Glen Saumier (Dianne) of Sturgeon Falls, Guy Saumier and Lisa Bouchard of North Bay. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Blaine, Kelly, Joshua, Jason, Jamie, Derek and Alexander. Dear sister of Larry Bean of Orleans, ON; Henry Bean of Nanaimo, BC; Helen Pharand (Jean-Guy) of Thorne, ON; Rita Daur of Barry, ON; Jeanne Bean of St- Jean, Quebec and Jeannine Fryea (Paul) of Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Predeceased by her parents, Antoinette and Henry Bean; 2 sisters, Cecile and Estelle; and 4 brothers, Hubert, Raymond, Gerry and Bernard Bean. Annette will be fondly remembered for her steadfast devotion to her children, her love of life and laughter, and her resilient independence. As requested by Annette, there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Sturgeon Falls on Thursday, November 1, at 10 am. Reception to follow immediately at the Knights of Columbus Hall, in Sturgeon Falls. Interment will be at Saint Mary's Cemetery in North Bay on Friday, November 2 at 11 am. The family requests that lieu of flowers, Annette be remembered by donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
