BOES, Arnold A. - It is with sadness the family of Arnold's announce his death on Sunday, October 28th, 2007 at the Trenton Memorial Hospital, in his 84th year. Arnold will be missed by his niece Bev Sherwin (Dave) of Peterborough, and nephew Ron (Lynda) of Humboldt, Tennessee, and their families Lisa O'Leary (Dan) of Port Hope, Janet VanAllen (Darcy) of Lindsay, and Kristin Boes of Tupelo, Mississippi. Arnold is predeceased by his parents Jacob and Edith Boes, and his siblings Lillian, Irene, Grace, Ed, and Doris, and his sister-in-law Frances. Arnold leaves behind his dear friends Jack Edmonds and Lloyd Simpson. The family will receive friends at the WALAS FUNERAL HOME 130 Main St., Brighton (613-475-2121) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. A service of remembrance and thanksgiving will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, October 31st, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Gail Conrick officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Brighton. If desired, donations to the Smithfield Christian Congregational Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
