DAWSON-LAING, Mary Anne - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Leisureworld Caregiving Centre, Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at the age of 68. Mary Anne Laing (née Dawson) was the beloved wife of Dr. Ronald Laing and loved and cherished mother of Joanne Whitehead (Stan) and Jill Bray (Peter) both of South River and Donald Laing (Bonnie) of Boise, Idaho. She will be lovingly remembered by five grandchildren who meant the world to her; Meaghan, Mallory and Mathew Whitehead and Christopher and Amanda Bray. Fondly remembered by her former loving husband Jack Johnston and her many friends. While a resident of Leisureworld, Mary Anne regarded highly the excellent care and appreciated the thoughfullness of all her caregivers. Predeceased by her parents, Dr. Lawrence and Helen Dawson and her sister, Helen Lambe (Russell-surviving). No visitation. Cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium. A private family service will be held at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME Chapel on November 8, at 11:00. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Santa Claus Fund, Heart and Stroke Foundation and Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
