PETRICCA, Giovanna - Gone to be with her beloved Lord and Saviour on Saturday November 3rd, 2007. Giovanna, beloved wife of Luigi Petricca; loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Gone is a special woman whose sole being was to always think of others first. She was kind, sweet, gentle, caring, compassionate and sharing. Family traditions, love, togetherness, harmony, this is what she lived by; this is what she gave us. She will be sorely missed. At the request of the family there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street, on Tuesday November 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a private family interment. Father Don Sanvido to officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Hospital for Sick Children in honour of her love for children.
