PARSONS, Vera Alice - age 90 a resident of Meadow Park Nursing Home, Chatham formerly of Dresden passed away Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus. Vera was born in Dawn Twp. daughter of the late John and Rosetta (McGee) Elder. She is survived by her daughter Audrey & Robert Bourdeau of Port Lambton, daughter Marjorie Burton of London, daughter-in-law Norma Elder of Forest. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and a number of loving step-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ruby Smith, Dorothy St. Pierre and Phyllis Jarvis. She is predeceased by her husband Arthur Parsons Sr., son Gerald Elder, daughter & son-in-law Helen & Louis Tengelitis, step-sons Arthur Parsons Jr., Ronald Parsons, brothers Hugh & Donald Elder, sisters Irene Maki, Rose Antaya, Freida Squires, Mildred Zimmerman, grandchildren Michael and Janice Tengelitis. Visitors will be received at the THOMAS L. DEBURGER FUNERAL HOME, 620 Cross Street, Dresden on Tuesday 1 hour prior to service time at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Andrew Song is officiating.
