HUBBARD, Fredrick Frank, WWII Veteran - March 16, 1922-Oct 30,2007 - It is with profound sadness that Fred's loving family announce the peaceful passing of our family hero at Pembroke General Hospital. Beloved Husband of the late “beautiful Jackie”. Loving Father of Janis & Dick Storey, Steven & Marilyn Hubbard, Wendy & Jim Rose, Terry & Carol Hubbard. Grandchildren, Tami Gigian nee Storey. Todd Storey, Jackie, Jessica , Jennifer, Adrianne, Candace, Nole Hubbard and Kaitlyn Rose. Great grand children, Shane & Layne Gigian, Magen & Lillian Storey, Hayden Hubbard, Charlie Halverson and Dane Zwegers. Predeceased by his parents John and Lillian, Brother Thomas, Robert & sister Florence Moore. Fred will be missed by many friends & relatives and his best pal Luke. Fred served in WWII with the First Canadian Paratrooper company A. Before going over seas he married the love of his life, returning to raise his family and retiring as an engineer on the CN VIA passenger train. Fred spend his retirement years enjoying his winters in Florida and summers at his cottage. Dad was an avid outdoors men and belonged to the First Canadian Airborne Association. A private service will be held in the spring to celebrate his life. 10897040
