Olaf Carl JANITZ

JANITZ, Olaf Carl - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Olaf Carl Janitz at London University Hospital on Monday, November 5, 2007. Loving father of Erika and Gretta Janitz and friend Crystal Lane. Olaf is survived by his father Herbert Janitz of Markdale and his mother-in-law Marian Ryan of Brantford. He is predeceased by his mother Ute Janitz, his father-in-law Denis Ryan, and his brother-in-law Francis Ryan. Olaf leaves behind his brother Norman (Allison) Janitz, his niece Lorelei Janitz, his uncle Klaus Janitz and cousin Norbert (Terry) Janitz. He is sadly missed by his wife Clare Janitz. He is the dearly loved brother-in-law of Philip (Carol) Ryan, Adrian (Susan) Ryan, Nick (Larraine) Ryan, Teresa (Rob) Jackson, Anne (Norm) Rossignoli, Denise (Dennis) Neufeld, and Susan (Ray) Cardy. Olaf was a wonderful uncle to Kathleen, Dean, Steven, Crystal, Tessa, Tristan, Paul, Lucy, Mark, Carl, Sara, Eric, Jennifer, Michael, and Laura. A funeral service will be held at FOREST LAWN MEMORIAL CHAPEL at 2001 Dundas St, London at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2007, with visitation prior to this. Olaf's daughters Erika and Gretta and his wife Clare invite all those who loved him and enjoyed his company to join them in a toast to celebrate his life at a “wake“ at the Holiday Inn on Exeter Road in London on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 2 p.m. 10896155
