SWIFT, Beverley Anne (1948-2004) Passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2004. She leaves to mourn her husband Peter Deslauriers, her brothers Jack, Tom (Margaret) and Graham (Susan), her cousin and best friend Brenda (Harry Wilson) and her mother-in-law Mary Deslauriers. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by Pia, Smokey, Mimi and the birds. Bev also had tremendous support from many friends, colleagues and her wonderful neighbours on Percival Street. She received compassionate care over a six year period from the nurses, doctors, volunteers and support staff at St. Mary's Hospital Oncology clinic and 5 Main. She also received outstanding supportive care from Dr. Maureen Rapport, Joan Foster R.N. and Allison from the CLSC N.D.G. Montreal West. Resting at M.A. Blythe Bernier Funeral Home, 940 Ogilvy Avenue (corner Stuart), Park Extension; Metro Acadie. Tel: 495-8082. Visitation will be on Friday, September 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, September 18, from 2 to 5 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 19, at 1 p.m. at St. Philip's Church, 3400 Connaught Avenue (corner Sherbrooke). Wake to follow in the church hall. Burial to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the S.P.C.A.
