PILON, Rene - Mr. Rene Pilon of Long Sault at the Cornwall Community Hospital - McConnell Site on Monday November 5, 2007 age 77 years. (Retired Member of the Long Sault Volunteer Fire Department and Retired Driver for Tank Truck Transport). Beloved husband of the late Gloria Alberti. Loved father of Richard Pilon (Bonnie), Dan Pilon (Sandy), Ed Pilon (Marilyn), Rena Pilon (Mike Dobbs), Christine Galbraith (Kevan), Brenda Bateman (James), and Donna Primeau (Harvey). Sadly missed by his twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Dear brother of Alcide Pilon (Alberte), Edgar Pilon (Pauline), Murielle Phillips, Anita Lavigne, Conrad Pilon (Solange), Phillip Pilon (Jeannine), Fern Pilon (Aline), Denise Ouimet (Fern), Denis Pilon (Nicole), Yvette Dicaire (late Lorenzo), and Lionel Pilon (Lise); and brother in law to Gino Alberti (Jo-ann). Predeceased by his parents Eugene Pilon and Ida Beaupre; one brother Arthur Pilon and by two grandchildren. Resting at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall from 2 PM Wednesday November 7th. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church on Thursday November 8, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal to follow in St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Long Sault. Visitation Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 PM and Thursday 9-10 AM.
