WILLIS, Stanley - Mr. Stanley (Stan) Willis suddenly on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at the Cornwall Community Hospital McConnell Site; age 62 years. Retired Staff Sergeant Cornwall Community Police Service 30 years; and Retired Constable Ontario Provincial Police. Best friend and loving companion to Debbie Allan. Loving father of Tracey Phillips, Toronto; and Tricia Willis of Black Faulds, Alberta. Dear brother of Verna Deshaies (Robert Perp), Massena; and Dolores Wilson (Paul) of Cornwall. Dear grandfather of Laura and David Phillips; and Kristina Barcier; and dear godfather of Kaitlin Sauve. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by Debbie's family as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Also survived by previous marriage his former spouse Madeline Bateman. Predeceased by his parents John and Evelyn (Lalonde) Willis; and by one brother Reginald Sabourin (Kathy). Resting at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall from 2 p.m. Sunday, November 11th. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Rite of committal at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Cornwall.
