Peter O. WALKER

WALKER, Peter O (W.W. II Veteran) Peter was an active member of the Smiths Falls Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 95 and the Masonic Lodge of Toledo and Tamworth. Peacefully at the Perth and Smiths Falls Community Hospital, Peter passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at the age of 80 - formerly of Tamworth, Toronto and Keswick, Ontario. Beloved husband of the late Helen Walker. Loving father to Stewart, Nancy (Rick Lyman) of Smiths Falls and Bruce (Evi) of Vancouver. Sadly missed by grandchildren, Ben, Jessa and Brettan Lyman, Kate and Cameron Walker, Shawn, Kari, Michelle and Scott Walker and great-grandchildren Taylor and Rylee Resendes. Survived by one brother, Alan (Glena) of Keswick, one sister, Isobel of Newmarket, loving companion Marion Maitland of Smiths Falls. Also missed by fifteen nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Florence and Peter Walker of Keswick, his two sisters Florence Dale and Margaret Stebbins and by one brother Harold. A Memorial Service will be held at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Smiths Falls on Friday, October 1, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Perth and Smiths Falls District Community Hospital would be appreciated.
