MORAN, Gerard Joseph - (Former Reeve of Flos Township and Veteran of W.W. 11, RCNVR) - Passed away at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Thursday, October 25, 2007. Gerard Moran of Elmvale (Formerly of Phelpston). In his 82nd year. Beloved husband for 52 years (October 29, 2007) of Frances MacDonald. Loving father of Theresa Greer and Murray of Georgetown, Rosanne Gallinger and Brian of Owen Sound, Peter & Kathy (Hubbard) Moran of Colbourne and the late Gregory (1967) and Robin (1969). Much loved grandfather of Gregory Gallinger of Thunder Bay, Kevin Greer of Illinois, Kenzie & Alexa Moran and the late Katelyn Greer (2002). Gerard is survived by his sisters Mary Stone of Phelpston, Joan Kennedy of Elmvale, Bernadette Reynolds of Toronto and brother Patrick of Kamloops, B.C. and pre-deceased by his sister Margaret Belcourt and brothers Eugene and Jack Moran. Gerard was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 262 Elmvale and the Knights of Columbus Council 1626. Friends may call at the LYNN-STONE FUNERAL HOME, Elmvale from 1-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
