HARTE, Neil - With great sadness the family of Neil Harte announces his passing after a brief illness at St. Catharines General Hospital on Sunday, November 4, 2007 in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Isabel; loving and proud father of Stephen, Bryant and John. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Catherine and brother Adrian. Missing his sense of humour and joy of life will be his siblings John (Janice), Margaret Upper, Roderick (Maria), Peter (Sandy) Raymond (Marilyn), Brian (Janet), Gerard (Laurie), Kevin (Jean) Catherine (Regina) Alice Mirtos (Steve), Michael (Judy), Emily Kavanaugh (Ed), and Anne Carpenter (Charles). Dear brother-in-law to Nancy and Jim Watton. Fondly remembered by his godchildren Jennifer Harte and Sarah Carpenter and his many nieces and nephews. Neil enjoyed his work for over 40 years with Enbridge Gas (Consumers Gas) and was an active member of The Scottish Club and Celtic Club in St. Catharines. In lieu of flowers, if desired donations may be made to the St. Catharines Hospital Building fund. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the I.C.U. at the St. Catharines General Hospital. At his request cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Neil's life will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 11 a.m. 10891321
