GIBBONS, Robert Earl “Gibby“ (Veteran 1951-1976)(Honour Guard for the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth in 1954) - Passed away peacefully at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Thursday, November 1st, 2007. at the age of 73. Loving son of the late Bernard and Iva Gibbons. Loving husband of Patricia (nee Crockett) for 53 years. Dear father of Macrina Doane (Paul), Bernard (Christine), Timothy, Helen Morgan (Derek), and James (Tammy). Poppa G of Thomas, Daryl, Robert, Miranda, Mathew, Daniel, Brittany and Mackenzie. The family will receive friends at the WALAS FUNERAL HOME, 130 Main St., Brighton (613-475-2121) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, November 6th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Paul Feeley officiating. Inurnment at Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
