LUKACSY, Marjorie A. (nee HOLCOMB) – Cherished wife of Bert M. Lukacsy. Devoted mother of Patti (Paul) Fagan of Fonthill, Brenda ( Norman ) Aurlick of Toronto, Marton (Lisa) Lukacsy of Santa Anna, California, Susan (James) Pozhke of Milton, Paul (Joelle) Lukacsy of Welland. Loving grandmother of Krista, David, Mallory, Olivia, Samuel, Emily, Alexandra & Maxwell. Dear sister of Marion (Albert) Hannigan, Murray (Betty) Holcomb and Helen (George) Hissem. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents Ross & Alice Holcomb, her sisters Jean Steele, Norma Horton and brother Clyde Holcomb. She will also be missed by sisters-in-law Elizabeth (Jerry) O'Neil, Margaret (Zoli) Bendes and Steve (Vicki) Lukacsy and many nieces, nephews, friends & relatives. Marjorie drove a school bus for Canada Coach & Charterways for 25 years and was known as “Ma”. She was also a Noble Grand with the Faith Rebekah Lodge # 84, Welland. Kind, encouraging and eternally upbeat, Marjorie touched many and will be deeply missed. Friends are invited to visit the family on Thursday, November 8th from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, November 9th from 2-4 &7-9 p.m. at the H. L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland. Reverend George Schmidt of Central United Church will conduct the funeral service in the Cudney Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Doan's Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Society of Niagara are appreciated. God saw she was getting tired and the cure was not to be. So he put his arms around her and whispered “Come with me”. With tearful hearts we watched her fade away. Although we loved her dearly, we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. 10893910
