SANDERS, Lucy Ann - June 2, 1944 ~ November 12, 2007 - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucy Ann in her 63rd year. She has gone to join her mother Lucy (2001) and her father Melvin (1990). Lucy Ann is survived by her partner Charles Green, her children, Diane Sanders (Paul), David Sanders (Tammy), Donna Babela (Stephen), Fred Sanders (Charmaine) and she always had a great heart for her step-children, Debbie Green and Douglas Green (Audrey). Lucy Ann will be missed as grandmother to Denise, Gracie, David-John, Kaitlin, Zachary, Alexander, Amanda, Travis, Bryce, Christopher, also as great-grandmother to Patrick, Summer and Owen. Lucy Ann is the dear sister to Melvin Sanders (Melody), Clyde Sanders (Jane), Lloyd Sanders (Anne), Wayne Sanders and Linda. Lucy Ann had many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles throughout the Niagara Region, Toronto, B.C. and England, which all hold a cherished chapter in her heart very dearly. Lucy Ann's heart was full of love and fondness for an extended surrounding of dear friends that she would openly accept as a part of her family. Lucy Ann's door was always open to all who were in need of a helping hand, an ear for listening, a shoulder to lean on, and a heart to receive without prejudice. The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St., (905)684-6346 on Thursday, November 15th, 2007 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Lucy Ann's Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
