STANGL, Frederick Louis - (Born January 8, 1937) ~ Suddenly passed away on Tuesday November 13, 2007. Survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Lucy (McNeil) Stangl, his loving children Rose and her dog Riley, Louise and her husband Val, Lorraine and her husband Mike, Debra and her husband Johannes (Opie) and Mike and his wife Carolee. Dear Papa of Alexander, Sebastian, Rachel, Austin, Olivia, Owen, and Ethan. Survived by his sister Augustine and her husband James Dew and predeceased by his sister Toni. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews and The English Club. He was a loving husband, dad and Papa. To those who knew him he had a big heart and found a second chance at life through his grandchildren. His family lit up his face. . . he will be sadly missed by all. Friends may call at the TURNER & PORTER YORKE CHAPEL, 2357 Bloor St., W at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, from 7-9 pm on Friday. A Celebration of Fred's life will be held in the chapel on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 1 pm. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund. 10903114
