CHILCOTT, Mary Burgoyne - Passed away peacefully at Northland Pointe on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 in her 98th year. Dearly loved mother of Fay Tolley of Port Colborne and William Stone of London, England. She will be sadly missed by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren as well as daughter in law Beryl Chilcott of Niagara Falls. Predeceased by her husband Samuel Chilcott (1984), sons Malcolm and Graham Chilcott, a daughter Mildred Watts, son-in- law Albert Tolley her parents Thomas and Margaret Howie, brothers John, Tom and James Howie and sisters Margaret (Peggy) Hoskins and Sarah Stevens. Mary moved to Darby, England in 1917, to Ipswich, Suffolk, England in 1928, to Niagara Falls in 1961, to Kirkland Lake in 1979 and then to Port Colborne July 12, 1999. She was a member for 20 years of St. Peter's On The Rock Anglican Church in Kirkland Lake where she was a member of the church choir, the Anglican Church Women (ACW) and a member of the church Hand Bell Ringers. She was also a member of the Port Colborne Senior Citizen's Club and the Harbour Light Singers. Mary loved to do tapestries and Danish Wool Paintings and was a Foster Mother for years in England. Mary's Family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in the Armstrong Chapel. Interment will take place at Lundy's Lane Cemetery, Niagara Falls, ON. If so desired memorial donations may be made to Sick Children's Hospital or to a charity of one's choice.
