OBITUARY JIM FISHER (Veteran WWII, British Armed Forces, R.A.F., Para 6th Airborne.) After a life well lived, Jim answered the last Roll Call on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at the age of eighty-six. Beloved husband of Julie Morris. Loving father of Margaret, Ian and his wife Francine and John and his partner Joanne. Cherished grand-father of Jessica, Emilie (Marc), Chloe (Ryan), Allison, and Haley. Predeceased by his first wife Bette. Jim was a long serving employee of Gulf Canada, life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 82, honoured member of the Masonic Lodge, founder of the Alzheimer Society of Peel, off-ice official with Montreal Canadians of the N.H.L., and faithful follower of Christ through the Anglican and United Church. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10, N. of the QEW) on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church United, 1700 Mazo Cres., Mississauga on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 11 a.m. If desired, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Peel or Christ Church United.
