Myrtle Edna SIMMONS

FORD, Myrtle Edna (Gallant) (nee Simmons). December 1, 1916 - October 12, 2007. Myrtle Ford passed away peacefully at the Venta Care Centre on Friday, October 12, 2007 at the age of ninety years. She is survived by her sister Ruby Strike; daughters Audrey (Andro) Bronzan and Valerie (Joe) Jans; son Peter (Kathy) Gallant; grandchildren: Debbie, Anne, John, Nicholas, Andro Jr., Shawn, Alisha and Jordan. Myrtle also leaves 20 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews as well as her special lifelong friend Minie Whimp. She was predeceased by her first husband Walter Gallant, son John Gallant; her second husband Douglas Ford; parents Margaret Rosa & James Henry Simmons; sister Winnifred Davies; brothers John Edward Simmons and James Henry Simmons. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Captain Don Bladen of the Salvation Army Edmonton Temple officiating. Interment will follow in Northern Lights Cemetery.
