DUGGAN, Edwin, Anthony "Tony" After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Tony passed away peacefully at the Grace Manor, on Thursday, October 18th 2007, at the age of 76. Tony was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Edwin Duggan and Hester Elizabeth (Drolet) and was the beloved brother of his three older sisters Phyllis (Ron), Mary (Wally - both deceased) and Margaret (Donald) and will be dearly missed by his two loving daughters, Mary and Terry, and his only grandson Mike. He will also be mourned by his dear cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all his colleagues in education, the students he mentored along the way and the many, many dear friends he made and who remained close to the end. An Alumnus of St. Pat's College, Queen's University, Carleton University and UBC, and a great fan and participant of many sports! Not to be forgotten - his love for the hills, at Mont-Ste-Marie, QC and his love for the mountains, in Kaslo, BC. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of both the Salvation Army Grace Manor and Stillwater Creek Retirement Community. A Mass in memory to celebrate Tony's life will be held Saturday, November 3rd 2007 at St. Mary's Church (Bayswater & Young) Ottawa, at 11 a.m. For those who wish, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Salvation Army Ottawa Grace Manor would be appreciated.
