GRANATA, Vincenzo. It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of Vincenzo, who passed away on Sunday, October 21, at seventy-one years of age; husband of forty-six years to Claire, father to Johane (Lino) and Stephen (Dominique), and cherished nonno to Jonathan, Isabella, Justin, Camille and Vincent. He left this life the way he lived it, with dignity and courage. Also survived by his brother Giuseppe (Marie), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. We wish to extend our sincere thanks to the wonderful doctors, nurses and dedicated caregivers at the Jewish General Hospital. Visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. Des Sources, on Tuesday, October 23, 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 11 a.m., same location. In keeping with Vincenzo's wishes, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Palliative Care Dept. of the Jewish General Hospital, (514) 340-8222, 3755 Cote Ste-Catherine, Montreal, Qc.
