HANDFORTH, Doris R.N. (KGH Class of 1941) Peacefully, at the John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee on Sunday, October 21, 2007. Doris Irene Handforth (Stinson) of Napanee and formerly of Tamworth at age 88. Beloved wife of Victor Handforth and dear mother of Douglas Handforth (Madeleine) of Kingston. Grandmother of Alexander; Nicholas and Genevieve. Sister of Laura Burgess; her twin Doreen Durnford and predeceased by brother Bert Stinson; sisters Clara Shaw and Nellie Young and her parents Herbert Stinson and Helena Humphrey. The family will receive friends at the WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, 123 Dundas Street West, Napanee (613-354-3341) on Saturday, October 27 from 12-1 p.m. followed by Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Canon David Smith Officiating. Interment Service to follow at Christ Church Cemetery, Tamworth at 2:30 p.m. Memorial donations made to the John M. Parrott Centre would be appreciated by the family.
