OBITUARY GERTRUDE JEAN ESKINS FOSTER 11/2/1930 - 10/19/2007 Gertrude Jean Eskins-Foster, passed away October 19, 2007. Gertrude was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Herbert James Foster, they had been married for 27 years prior to his death. Gertrude was the daughter of Herbert Eskins and Georgina Robinson Eskins, of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. She was also predeceased by her siblings; Herbert, Mary, Harry, Anna Mae; Richard; Gladys; Joseph, Bertha, James and John. Gertrude leaves to mourn a son, Duane Herbert Foster of Belleville, New Jersey a daughter, Denise Rosemarie Foster Batts and her husband Vance Batts, Sr. of Katy, TX and Mary Frances Egerton, whom she loved like a daughter, of East Orange, New Jersey, her brother Luke Eskins of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, among a host of dear friends, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gertrude was known for her caring spirit, generosity, wisdom and strength. Her family was her fan club. She will be truly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
