DIAS-JULIAO, Filomena (Nee Gonsalves). Beloved wife of the late Francisco Cruz, died peacefully and courageously, surrounded by family on Saturday, October 20, 2007, at the Jewish General Hospital. Filomena will be forever cherished by her children, son Cyril (Marie-Josee), daughter Ann (Ian) and son Baptist (Heather). Devoted Nona to Liam, Dylan, Evan and Brennan. Loving sister of Cajejan (Cecelia), Lucy (Tony) and Loretta (Annesley). She was also dearly loved by her nieces and nephews. Filomena was an active member of many community and church groups including the CWL. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling the world. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association. The visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, D.D.O., QC (514) 685-3344 on Friday, October 26, 2007 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Mary Queen of Peace Church (11075 boul. Gouin O., Pierrefonds, QC) on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Rideau Memorial Gardens. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 10/24/2007
