OBITUARY DESMOND DENIS CARROLL Passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) on October 23, 2007 at the age of seventy-five years. He is predeceased by his brother Brendan. Des will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Breda of 47 years, his children Greg (Lea), Sheilagh (Rainer), Rosaleen and granchildren; Gary, Brian, Michael, Kris, Alex, Caitlin as well as his extended family and many friends. Born in Dublin, Ireland, he arrived in Canada in 1959 and was a member of the Royal Canadian Hussars Reserves. He was a proud yet simple man with strong family values, who adored his grandchildren. Special thanks us offered to the medical and nursing staff at SMH ward North 41. Prayers will be offered on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 8:15 p.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 12 noon at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 8842-119 Street, Delta, B.C.
