Juanita GLEASON

POLLOCK, Juanita (nee Gleason) Peacefully at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital on October 24, 2007, in her 86th year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Larry Pollock. Loving mother and good friend of daughters Darleen Courrier of Winnipeg and Sharron, and sons Peter (Sylvia) and Dennis. Dear sister to Velma (Henri Dubois). Predeceased by her brother Douglas Gleason and sisters Dorothy Gleason and Eileen Rattray. She will be dearly missed by her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. At Juanita's request, a private family service will be held followed by Interment at Pinecrest Cemetery. A special thanks to the staff at the Queensway-Carleton for their kind care. Our beautiful Irish rose will be sadly missed. Juanita, a warm, generous and kind person, requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada at 2580 Innes Road, Ottawa.
