Ericka Ann Helene LOW

LOW, Ericka Ann Helene The death of Ericka Ann Helene Low of Saint John, NB, occured on Monday, October 22, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Victoria, BC on May 17, 1977, she was the daughter of Gisela Low (nee Knoepfler) and the late James William Low. Ericka was a graduate of the University of Ottawa, where she received both a Bachelor of Music degree (magna cum laude) and a Master of Music degree. She was a member of the Saint John String Quartet and Symphony New Brunswick. A memorial service was held in Saint John, NB on Friday, October 26 at 11am, while some of Ericka's many Ottawa friends gathered in Strathcona Park in Sandy Hill at 10 a.m. on Friday to remember a fine violinist, teacher, and friend. In memory of Ericka, Ottawa friends may make a donation to the Ericka Low Memorial Scholarship through the OrKidstra Program, with cheques made payable to the Leading Note Foundation, 370 Elgin St Suite #1, Ottawa, ON.
