Ronald René PAQUETTE

PAQUETTE, Ronald Rene, Korean War Veteran PPCLI Ron Paquette passed away peacefully in his 80th year on Thursday October 25th 2007 at the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Center, Ottawa, Ontario. Ron is survived by his wife Rita (Mimi) Paquette (nee Colborne), his son Michael Thomas Paquette and his sister Lucille Hannah (nee Paquette), all of Ottawa; by his daughter Kathryn Marie Hamp (nee Paquette) and her husband Kenneth as well as by Ron's two grandchildren, Stephenie Marie Hamp and Jonathan Kenley Hamp, all of North Richland Hills, Texas. He was predeceased by his parents Henri and Marie Ange Paquette, brother Bernard, sister Claudette and close uncle Roger. Also remembered by his neighbor and close family friend Mrs. Aline Chartrand and her children. The family would also like to thank Dr. Tobin and nursing staff at the Veterans' Health Center. Friends may pay respects at Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset Street West, (Centretown) Ottawa, Ontario on Monday October 29th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. In memoriam donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Center. A memorial service and reception will be held at the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Center, 1750 Russell Road, Ottawa, Ontario on Tuesday October 30th at 3:00 PM.
