FIX, Martin "Marty". Passed away at Georgetown Hospital on October 24, 2007, after a long illness at the age of seventy eight. Son of the late Martin and Elizabeth Fix. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 46 years Connie (nee Murphy). Loving father of Debbie (Frank), Carolyn (Scott) and Heidi (John). Proud Papa of Jessica, Brandon, Kyle, Colin, Ashley and Christopher. Predeceased by brothers Florian "Flip" (Pauline), John (Helene) and Joseph. Special thanks to the nursing staff at Georgetown Hospital for their compassion and care this past week and to the Acclaim Health nurses for their support and care over the last 3 years. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, (905) 877-3631 on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, October 29 at 10 a.m. Interment Brampton Memorial Gardens.
