FLEMING, Ruth (nee Werrell) Peacefully at the Wakefield Hospital on Monday, October 29, 2007, at the age of 79. Wife of the late Ed Fleming. Ruth leaves behind her 7 children: Anne, Rod (Pierrette), Bernie (Debbie), Dolores (Rory), Dave, Clint, Jack (Karen); her 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her sister Lois Milks as well as several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Gold and the nursing staff at the Wakefield Hospital, Lise Demers of CLSC and Dr. Belair of CHVO Gatineau for their care. Friends are invited to visit at the McGarry Memorial Chapel, 139 Valley Road, Wakefield on Thursday from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, Old Chelsea, Quebec on Saturday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wakefield Gatineau Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
