MURPHY, Shawn Kenneth Safely Home ..... I am home in Heaven, dear ones Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty In this everlasting light. Peacefully on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at the age of 39. Cherished son of Nancy Martin (Gill) (late Harry) and Bruce Murphy (Gisela). Dearest stepson to Pauline Moxey. Dear brother to David Martin (Robin), Jim Murphy (Terrie) and the late Maurice Murphy. Dear grandson to Nita Gill, the late Russell Gill and the late Frank and Dorothy Murphy. Predeceased by uncle Peter Gill. Sadly missed by uncles and aunts, D'Arcy Murphy (Judy), Adele Sheahan (Patrick), David Gill (Lana), Sue (Sandy) MacGregor, Debbie Arecchi (Frank), Raymond Gill (Joanne). Proud uncle to Erica and Hailey. Cherished by cousins and best friends to Anthony and Russell Arecchi. Fondly remembered by cousins Jennifer Murphy-Zaremba (David), Michael Murphy (Janet), Brian, Annikka, Ian and many other cousins, nieces and nephews. A special thank you to staff at Quinlan Centre, Oakdean Residence and Ratan Residence for their excellent care and love over the years. Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service in the chapel on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Carleton Association For Persons With Developmental Disabilities (OCAPDD), 200-250 City Centre Ave., Ottawa K1A 0A0 would be appreciated.
