Hunter: Arthur Edward Surrounded by his loving wife and family, Art passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2005 in the Drumheller Health Care Centre at the age of 73 years. Art will be remembered for his witty sense of humour and friendly conversation, his fondness for fishing, baseball, hockey, and playing cards, and for his determination to make the most of each day. His tender and comical gestures will forever be cherished by his wife, Dorothy, and his positive and caring nature will forever be a lasting gift to his children and grandchildren. Left to cherish Art's memory are his wife of 46 years, Dorothy; daughter Kelly (Tony) Owens and children, Tyler and Janelle; son, Gerry (Theresa) Hunter and children Layne and Scott; and daughter, Tracy and fiancé Mark Heartt and children Brandon, Tyler, Cassidy and Zachery. Art was predeceased by his parents, John and Grace, and brothers Doug and Wes (Jiffy). He will also be lovingly remembered by his sister, Mabel Wayne, brother Ken (Ethel) Hunter, sister Muriel (Brian) Hole, brother Ron (Shirley) Hunter, brother Reg (Darlene) Hunter, brother Harold (Amy) Hunter, sister Lorraine (Doug) Stanger; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at Knox United Church, Drumheller, AB with Rev. Harold Hunter officiating.
