BROWN: Jack Leo 1920 - 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Leo Brown on May 3, 2007 at the age of 87 years with his loving family by his side. Jack was born on April 3, 1920 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Jack spent most of his life farming in the Hesketh/Pope Lease area. Jack will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joan of 62 years, three daughters; Gail (Larry) Mortimer, Jacqueline (Larry) Michta, Sheila (Bill) Gibson, one son; Clayton Brown, seven grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister; Audrey Appleyard, and a lifetime of friends. Jack was predeceased by his first born, daughter Shirley. Service of Remembrance was held Monday May 7, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from the Knox United Church, if friends so desire memorial donations may be made in Jack’s memory to the Drumheller Health Centre/Acute Care or a charity of one’s choice. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Chapel was in care of the arrangements.
