ALDERMAN, Rex William Veteran-British Royal Catering Corps 1951-1953 Hong Kong Member, UA Local #221 At St. Mary's of The Lake Hospital, after a brief battle with asbestosis, on November 11th, 2007, surrounded by his loving family in his 75th year. Loving husband of Barbara, his best friend and traveling companion of 53 years, father of David (Kelly) and Lorraine (John). He will be fondly remembered by grandsons Justin, Corey and Eric, family and many friends in both Canada and England, as well as his canine buddy Wren. Rex will always be remembered for his love of gardening, traveling and Guinness beer. The family extends sincere appreciation to Dr. Greg Patey, Dr. Palumbo, Cathy, Angela and the staff of KGH Connell 10 and St. Mary's of the Lake for their care and kindness. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME (1900 John Counter Boulevard), on Wednesday, November 14, at 11:00 a.m. To honour his memory, donations may be made to U.H.K.F.
