PATTERSON, Glen - Science '41 - Glen slipped away peacefully in Kingston, on Sunday morning November 11, in the hands of his wife Barbara, daughter Judith, longtime family friend Pat Bolla, and his little Bonni. Born in Brandon, Manitoba to Bertram and Margaret, he attended Queen's and then went on to work in war engineering technology at Northern Electric in Montreal. He moved to Toronto and married Barb and had a fabulous career with Ontario Hydro providing power for the people. He enjoyed his friends, curling, golf, Florida, and the Toronto Blue Jays. He was a loving father and husband, a good-natured man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The great tragedy of the family was the loss of Laurie, his younger daughter, in 1970, but he is with her now. The family thanks the staff of Trillium Residence, and of Connell 10 and the Enhanced Care Unit of KGH for their care and compassion. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, CATARAQUI CHAPEL (1900 John Counter Boulevard), Kingston. The family will receive friends, Wednesday evening, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., as well as one hour prior to service time. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday, November 15 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow with inurnment at Glendale Memorial Gardens, Toronto, in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Glen Patterson to Providence Care - Hildegarde Centre, c/o Denise Hagerman, 275 Sydenham St., Kingston, Ontario, K7K 1G7. (Donations by cheque only please). 10901701
