BROOKS, Charles Ernest William (Bill) - (Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 402, Millbrook and Captain with the Toronto Fire Department for 35 years) Peacefully on Monday, November 12, 2007 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre Hospital Drive Site, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Betty L. Brooks (1990). Brother of the late Richard (Dick) Brooks, Harold (Jes) Brooks, Maude Woods, Margaret Thompson and Lillian Brooks. Uncle and great-uncle of several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Thursday, November 15, 2007 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 402, Millbrook will hold a Legion service in the chapel at 1:15 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m., Reverend John Sloan officiating. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. 10899223
