BROWN, William Nelson - passed away suddenly on Tuesday November 13, 2007 at the Cedarwood Gardens Retirement Home, Simcoe, Bill Brown of Port Rowan and formerly of Keene in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Betty whom he married April 25, 1981. Dear father of Anne & husband Ken Reaver of Mississippi, Craig Brown & wife Cathy of Keene, Ann & husband Evan Engell of St. Williams, Ron Braithwaite & wife Kathryne of Peterborough and Joseph Braithwaite & wife Hilary Hawkins of Whitby. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Cara, Crystal, Jim, Keira, Cody, Aleigha, Dylan, James and great- grandson Colby. Also survived by his sister Doreen Redpath of Peterborough and brother Arnold Brown of Keene. Predeceased by his sister Eileen Churchill. Bill retired as the Manager of the Otonabee Township Community Centre and served on the Otonabee Township Fire Department for over 24 years. Relatives and friends may call at the JEFFREY W. GLENDINNING FUNERAL HOME, 36 Front St., Port Rowan on Thursday from 7-9pm. Transfer will then be made to the Nisbett Funeral Home, 600 Monaghan Rd., S., Peterborough for visitation on Saturday November 17, 2007 from 1-4 pm. There will be no Funeral Service. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. 10902246
