BRACKEN, Gertrude May - Peacefully at Extendicare Nursing Home on Thursday, November 15, 2007. The former Gertrude May Boicey, in her 96th year. Loving mother of Gary Bracken and his wife Lonia of Petrolia, Ontario. Proud grandmother of Patrick, Wendy, Jamie and Cathy and great grandmother of Jamie Lynn, Brittany, Michael and Emily. Fondly remembered by Gordon and Evelyn Backus and their son Joseph, as well as several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William Boicey and Isabella Arnott, her 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. The Reverend William Whiston officiating. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
