ROBERTS, Capt. James George - Peacfully at his home, surrounded by his family on Friday, November 16, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 55 years. Loving husband of Angie. Dear father of Joel. Jim is survived by his brothers Carl, Roy, Raymond, sisters Sharon Woodland, Francis Miller, and Doreen Roberts. Also remembered by his many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre, Connell 9 at the Kingston General Hospital and a heartfelt thank you to St. Elizabeth Health Care for their continuous efforts. In keeping with Jim's wishes, cremation will be immediate. Friends will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, CATARAQUI CHAPEL (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Tuesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. A celebration of Jim's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 11 am. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery.Friends are invited to a reception following the interment at the James Reid Reception Centre. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (Cancer Centre of SE Ontario at KGH) would be appreciated by the family.
