LUNDIE, - It is with deep regret that I report the passing of Mrs. John Lundie at the Wesburn Manor, Etobicoke, on November 13, 2007. She is survived by her daughters, Maureen Harjula, Andrea Jackson and her son Michael Lundie and seven grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, John Lundie, a veteran of WW11. Mrs. Lundie was born Ms Dorothy Featherstone in England in 1913. She was an enthusiastic volunteer for many causes and was presented an Ontario Governor General's award for “Provincial Volunteer“ three times. I will always remember Lynne, as she was called, from the day I met her in Killbear Provincial Park in 1961. At that time I worked on the park's garbage truck. Lynne invited the park rangers and me to come and entertain her daughter Maureen and Maureen's friend Dianne, who were bored from camping. Mrs. Lundie and her generous nature will be missed by many. In lieu of cards or flowers, a contribution in memory of Lynne may be made to tree planting by the Otonabee Conservation Foundation in Peterborough. Andy Harjula Son-in-law 10902272
