HAMMOND, Alexander Ritchie “Al“ - Passed away with his family by his side at the P.R.H.C., Rogers Street Site on Friday, November 16, 2007. Al Hammond of R.R. 1, Apsley in his 70th year. Beloved husband of 49 years to Shirley (Nee Srigley). Dad will be dearly missed by Lynda Hammond and Lynn Smallwood of Lakefield, Alex and Debbie Hammond of Carrying Place, and Lisa Anne and Jason Quesada of Texas. Much loved Poppa of Alexander and Zachary and Brynn and Braelynn. Always remembered by his brother Dick and sister Isabell and Bob Clark, brother-in-law Roy Green and sister- in-law Eleanor. Also missed by many nieces, nephews and very dear friends. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Agnes Hammond, brother Albert, sister Anne Green, sister-in-law Betty Hammond and nephew Richard Hammond. A funeral service will be held from the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, Lakefield on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 12:00 noon with visitation to commence at 10:00 A.M. Reception to follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Interment Sixth Line Cemetery, Stroud, on Wednesday November 21, 2007.
