DESCHAMPS, Donald "Don" Peacefully while surrounded by loved ones in St. Viateur Nursing Home in Limoges on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the age of 61 years. Beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Shaw). Cherished father of Carey (Kevin) of Fredericton, Chantal (Barry) of Moncton, Pascal (Lise) of Moncton and Shaun of Embrun. Beloved Pepe of 5 grandchildren, Rebecca, Jacob, Julie, Nicholas and Samuel. Son of the late Leonard and Helen (Marois) Deschamps. Will be remembered by 7 siblings, Roland (Julie) of Spring Bay, Jeanne (Claude) of Embrun, Maurice (Barb) of Val Caron, Gerald (Diane) of Val Caron, Therese (Dan) of Richmond Hill, Denis (Lesley) of Val Caron, Lise (Roman) of Hanmer. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Will be sadly missed by his "partner in crime" Rambo. Don's love of airplanes led him to a 30 year career with the Royal Canadian Air Force. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service, to celebrate Don's life will be held Saturday in the Chapel at 10 a.m. In memory of Don, a donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society. A very special thank you to the staff at St. Viateur Nursing Home for their dedication and loving care given to Don and his family on his final journey.
