LUESBY, James Keith "Jim" (Chief Warrant Officer - ret) The Luesby family is sad to announce the passing of their husband, father, pappa, uncle, and friend after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Jim is survived by his wife of 55 years, Evelyn (Biden), his sister, Fern Sloan (Bob Mann), his 9 children, Rose Downey, Ishtar (Carole Anne Mill), Darryll (Louise), Deirdre (Phillip Njau), Darilane Itz (Harry), Christopher, Jonathan (Michele), Timothy (Janet), Gregg (Joanne), his 16 loving grandchildren Aaron, Karina, Anelia, Danielle, Morille, Malaika, Kyle, Katrina, Jason, Justin, Katelyn, April, Sarena, Spencer, Sophie and Zachary as well as many other relatives and friends from the Air Force, Queenswood Village, Margate Florida, and Lac Serpent. The famlily would like to thank Dr. Lisa Aldridge and all the caring staff on the 5th floor at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre (EBHC). Friends and family may pay their respects at Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St-Joseph Blvd., Orleans on Friday, November 2, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service to be held in the Chapel on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, 800 Taylor Creek Road, Orleans from noon - 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the SCO Health Service Foundation to support the EBHC.
