SAMPLE, Gladys Peacefully in hospital with her family at her side on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 in her 88th year. Gladys Isobel Gardiner, beloved wife of the late William James Sample. Loving mother of Glen (Christine), Delmer (Heather), Bill (Patricia) and Janice (David) Nephin. Predeceased by a son Robert (Donna). Much loved grandmother of Eryn, Sharyn, Jamie, Tyler, Angie, Allie, Kristy, Corey, Victoria, Will, Morgan, Adam and Emma. Dear sister of Edna Ireton and sister-in-law of Iva Gardiner and Rose Machin. Predeceased by brothers Jack, Herb and Clifford Gardiner. Friends may call at the Carleton Place Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 61 Lake Avenue West, Carleton Place on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in St. James Anglican Church, Carleton Place on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Innisville.
