MORRIS, Gilda Cortese. (1931-2007). Gilda passed away October 30, 2007 in the manner that so characterized her life; with valour and strength, dignity and grace. She is survived by the two sons she was deeply devoted to, Jeffrey and Rick, who are now lost without her light. She leaves to mourn two grandchildren, Jason and Jamie Lee, as well as extended family and many friends. Gilda was loved by all she had an impact on and will be sadly missed. She was a child of the sea, and it is to the sea she has now returned. A memorial celebrating Gilda will be held Monday, November 5 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, 514-685-3344.
