APPEL, Freda (nee Swetsky) Peacefully, at Central Park Lodge on Friday, November 2, 2007, at the age of 93. Dearly beloved wife of Toby and the late Jack Budovitch. Beloved and adored Mother of Sharon Pinsler (Peter) and Brenda Schopp (Erik Haltrecht). Treasured Grandmother of Jacki Seley (Peter), Jonathan Pinsler (Emmanuelle Lesage), Sarah Schopp, and Jay Schopp, and her special Great Grandchildren Hannah and Samson Seley, and Julia and Clara Pinsler. Dearest sister of Pearl Steinberg (Joseph), Lou Swetsky (Gladys), and the late Hyman Swetsky. She was a loving aunt and will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all of those whose lives she touched. Dear step-mother of Maureen Molot (Henry), Linda Cohen (Alan), Sandy Schuman (Gerry), and Barry Appel. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Freda's caregivers Maria, Clementine, Lolita, and Beryl for their compassionate assistance and excellent care. Funeral service will be held at J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel, 160 York St., Fredericton, NB on Monday, November 5 at 2 pm, followed by interment at Sgoolai Israel Cemetery.
